PURPOSE and OBJECTIVES
PURPOSE
As the Grace Gospel Church Ministry begins its sixteenth doctrinal conference, centering on "Temporal and Eternal Things Compared Part Two", we realize that there are divers’ doctrinal views among various traditional religious factions, almost exclusively focused in the sphere of time. As we expound documentation of our doctrinal positions on various subjects, we continue to express our sincere love for all of God’s elect, even those who vehemently reject our views. As we always state, it is never our aim to sow seeds of discord among God’s people for we truly love the Body of Christ and would like nothing more than to see God’s precious elect united. Furthermore, we truly recognize that the only thing that can unite us is the truth i.e., the nucleus of the message that was revealed to the Apostle Paul for the Grace Church, which includes full understanding of all tenets of salvation, as eternally viewed and are part of the Grace Doctrine.
From the inception of this ministry, we have prioritized studying of the doctrines of salvation. We are more than convinced that this is our commission because we believe that it is God’s prioritized directive to His Church. We believe that God’s people should be incited to be proficient in His word (II Timothy 2:24). We also believe that all those who so resolutely labor in the word and doctrine will at least agree that God was the sole initiator and actor who performed the tasks of having brought about the results of salvation and these acts were all structured in His Eternal Decree. To recap briefly, from the vantage-point of time, man is estranged and separated from God due to his sinful nature, thus God’s eternal plan entailed “reconciliation” or “restoration” of His elect in the fellowship relation in the Body of Christ. God’s procedure in Him accomplishing this was the eternal substitutionary death of Jesus. This met the requisite, for the only remedy for sin is the blood of Jesus. Our endeavor is to convey this precious truth to those of God’s people who will be caused to study and hopefully concur upon these points.
God’s eternal task was to justify His restoration of mankind and yet remain just! How God accomplished this forms the doctrines of salvation. Justification is a legal term, which basically deals with removing the “guilt” and placing selected ones who were absolutely guilty into a position of absolute innocence. God was justified in doing this, not only from the forensic view but also in the moral sense of Him having made His beloved righteous through Imputation. We pray that all will understand through God’s word that only deity could have accomplished this. The removing of guilt was the exclusive result of Jesus’ sacrificial work in eternity, as manifested on the cross of Calvary, as He died for (or because of) our sins and rose for (or because of) our justification.
OBJECTIVE
As we continue to present our dialog on various doctrinal Eternal subject matters i.e., “Temporal and Eternal Things Compared Part Two,” our focus is on the all-important questions of what our eternal relationship to God is and what is His designed purpose for creation and time, as it is viewed from eternity. This entails comprehension of when or at what point was the elect’s salvation through Christ actually initiated or activated? In this endeavor, we are laboring in an area that has been and yet continues to be categorically rejected by the majority mainstream Christendom. The major points of contention unfortunately continues to be what is the origin and sphere of the actualization of all things and whether ones salvation and association with God (as well as all things) occurred when one (supposedly) made a “decision” to accept Christ or was it God’s decision and indeed His activation of all things in the Eternal Sphere (Ephesians 1:4)?
As stated in all our earlier conferences, Eternity transcends all doctrinal positions in transition to every aspect of creative existence in documentation of answers to probing questions, i.e., 1). Are all things originated and actualized in Eternity or time? And in posturing those who insist on the sphere of time: 2). Does God make daily decisions? 3). To what extent (if any) does man’s daily acts determine his destiny? 4). Do prayers actually figure into the determination of things? 5). Are human acts determinable contributions to the course of life? The distinctions of those who believe absolutely or partially, as opposed to those who robustly reject such doctrinal positions; consequence in the lines of demarcation that have been staunchly drawn in Christendom. Because of such unpopular cogitations in many so-called orthodox religious organizations and denominations, most doctrines that are associated with Eternal Actualization and Foreordination receive very little attention, a distorted spin is annexed to their actual meaning or they are maligned. This happens even though there are some semblances of their terminologies in the creeds of most evangelical and congregational churches. Sadly, the doctrines engrained in the eternal sphere are skillfully detached from spiritual association with other truths and exhibited in exaggeration as threaten teachings to the Scriptures.
Most doctrinal teachings of Eternal Actuation and Foreordination have been maligned mostly for the purpose of softening their designs or explaining them away. However, the peculiar nature of these truths certainly demand that they should be approached strictly from their scriptural analysis and exegesis, considering both their dispensational and covenantal guidelines, as their implications are evident in all sections of the Bible. But they cannot nor should they be ignored simply because they represent to some minds, an innumerable multitude of those immutably consigned to eternal separation from God, as well as the forfeiture of mankind’s control of all things in this life. But they should be thoroughly searched out in the Scriptures, reverencing the Sovereignty of God and His Eternal agenda rather than pampering unsubstantiated presumptions and irreverent speculations regarding His eternal plan, will and purpose.
The basic end product question of these doctrinal subjects is “HAS GOD FROM ALL ETERNITY” foreordained and actualized all things that are manifested? If so, what evidence does the word of God offer to that effect? Also, if Eternal Actualization and Foreordination are factual, is it possible to coordinate the moral perfection and power of the plan, purpose and will of God with the so-called ‘free agency’ of “rational creatures”? Our prime objective is that all attendees will receive an informed enlightenment of these blessed truths and their practical daily implications.
In this regard, the central aim in this conference is to set forth documentation of the scriptural directives and instructions formulating the applications of God’s predetermination and actualization of everything that comprise His Purpose and design for Creation as well as Time from the Eternal Viewpoint. Some of the presentations and discussions will exhibit God’s sovereign and eternal workings of salvation with regard to His will as expressed in His Decree, in predestination and providence. The first principle we need to recognize is that God did not predestine and activate things because He foresaw what would be done nor consult with anyone in the formulation of His Decree but with the only one that was available in eternity, HIMSELF (Ephesians 1:11; Romans 11:34).
In addition, one should never construe that God can be persuaded to change His Decree, as this would constitute a breach of His immutability ……….for it is impertinence to think that He would alter the unalterable. No informed child of God would ever dare conceive of God to be an oath breaker. Moreover, God Almighty issued His Decree out of His infinite and perfect wisdom. Anything operating against His Decree would impugn the wisdom and power of God. Those who are riled because of Eternal Actualization, God’s Sovereign Grace in election to salvation and Eternal Justification are going to be continuously frustrated by the events of this world. There is no peace outside of knowing that all has already been accomplished in Christ before the creation of the world. No one would explicitly dare to claim to be inherently righteousness except through gross ignorance or in some rare instances, blatant arrogance.
Unfortunately, gross ignorance is too rampant in our churches today thus we hear constant so-called “testimonies of salvation,” which are not in alignment with God’s Word. A vivid illustration of this is the assertion that it is God’s will to save the entire world. It should be noted that our gospel (Grace Mystery Truth) has not been revealed to all men but to designate ones only (II Corinthians 4:3). Why? Because God did not save all men in Eternity but only those that He chose to and He has not revealed to us who they are. Accordingly, our ultimate desire should simply be to always abide in alignment with the Will of God.
